Exploratory meeting formed
An exploratory committee met for the first time to discuss the creation of a group for Marin County public employees. The committee is comprised of Becky Ng, Jacalyn Mah, Jeff Wong, Tom Lai and Ralph Hernandez. Tom provided several name options for the group and we voted for MAPLE - Marin Asian American Public Local Employees. Jeff is working on designing a logo. We plan to have our first outreach meeting on February 4, 2014. We'll have a potluck to celebrate the lunar new year and to discuss the purpose of this group.
