Dare to Dream Lunch-and-Learn Series
As part of DREAM collaborative (Diversity, Respect, Encouragement, Acceptance, Marin), MAPLE helped launch “Dare to Dream” consisting of a series of “Lunch-and-Learn” video screenings of TED Talks. We had an outstanding turnout on June 23 for the first video screening of Mellody Hobson’s “Color Blind or Color Brave?” Two additional TED Talks screenings have been planned for September 21 (Bassam Tariq – The Beauty and Diversity of Muslim Life) and December 1 (Aimee Mullins – The Opportunity of Adversity). All screenings will be held in Conference Room 308A of the Community Development Agency. Please RSVP.
